Marc Bertrand

Marc Bertrand served as President and CEO of MEGA Brands, a worldwide industry leader in construction toys and arts and craft brands. MEGA Brands was recognized worldwide for its organizational innovation complemented by strategic licenses with many iconic entertainment franchises, including Disney, Nickelodeon and Marvel. In 2014, Marc led MEGA to an acquisition by Mattel and currently serves as the president of Phaztoo

Lawrence Chernin

Mr. Chernin is a retired senior partner of Goodmans LLP. He was recognized by The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in the areas of Corporate Finance and Securities, Corporate Mid-Market, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Private Equity and as a leading lawyer by The Best Lawyers in Canada for Corporate Governance, Leveraged-Buyouts, and Private Equity. ​

Mike Cosentino

Mike Cosentino is responsible for all linear and digital content and programming for CTV, CTV Two, and Bell Media’s English-language suite of entertainment specialty networks, including Bravo, Comedy, MTV, Much, Gusto, Space, and more. He also oversees the development, creation, and execution of original production and in-house content for Bell Media Studios and the program strategy for Crave, Bell Media’s premium SVOD service.

Michael Hirsh

Mr. Hirsh’s achievements have helped shape today’s era in animation production and distribution. In 1971, Mr. Hirsh co-founded Nelvana Limited, where he developed and produced many of television’s most celebrated quality animated programs and in the process pioneered many of the worldwide co-production, marketing, and distribution techniques that have become standard industry practice. Some of the shows that Nelvana is best known for are Babar,
Tintin, Berenstain Bears, Care Bears, Droids, Ewoks, Magic School Bus, Franklin, Little Bear, Max and Ruby, Rolie Polie Olie, Bob and Margaret, and Beyblade.

Nelvana was sold to Corus in 2000 and Mr. Hirsh continued to serve as CEO until 2002 when he left the company. In 2004, Mr. Hirsh co-led an investment group to start Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc. where he served as CEO until the acquisition of its business by DHX Media in October 2012. Mr. Hirsh served as Executive Chair of DHX Media and Chairman of their Digital Sales Group through 2015. In 2016 Mr. Hirsh together with Christian Davin, Bob Ezrin and Neil Chakravarti announced the formation of WOW! Unlimited Media Inc. where he serves as Chairman and CEO.  WOW! Unlimited is traded publicly on the TSX Venture Exchange and combines Frederator, the #1 digital animation network and Rainmaker, the animation production leader.  WOW! Unlimited is committed to World Domination through Animation. ​

Mr. Richards is Managing Director, Network Capital Inc., an investment company. He has extensive experience as an entrepreneur, audit committee Chair, as well as a senior partner with Arthur Andersen and Coopers and Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers).  

Stuart Snyder

Mr. Snyder is the founder and President of Snyder Media Group, LLC., providing strategic guidance to media and start-up companies. He was formerly President and COO of the Animation, Young Adults and Kids Media division of Turner Broadcasting, as well as President of the World Wrestling Federation (now the WWE) and, prior to that, President of Feld Entertainment.

Tonya Williams

Tonya Williams is the Founder and Executive Director of Reelworld Film Festival and Reelworld Screen Institute, now in their 20th year, creating more access and inclusion for racially diverse screen based talent, in the Canadian entertainment industry.  She is also the recipient of two NAACP Image Awards, the 2017 WIFT Crystal Award, the 2005 ACTRA Award of Excellence, and has been nominated for two Emmy Awards.   This year Reelworld launched AccessReelworld.ca, now the largest searchable recruiting platform for diverse talent in over 98 job categories in the screen industries.  Tonya currently sits on Telefilm's Diversity & Inclusion Group, the Canadian Media Fund Black Industry Leaders Group and is one of the founders and a Board Member of the Black Screen Office. ​
